Injury To Star Player Rocks Maju Camp

An injury to C4 Football Club's key player Glen Tan has hit the club hard. Latest reports say that Tan suffered a slight strain to his left foot yesterday, and may be ruled out of tomorrow's giant clash with Surveillance Football Club.

The description by the club's physiotherapist have indicated that Tan might have suffered too much impact on his left foot, causing it to feel strained. The physio has given him a 50-50 chance of making a starting apperance in tomorrow's big match.

Sources close to the club have suggested the cause of the sudden injury. Apparently, Tan was seen playing beach football at Siloso Beach, Sentosa, yesterday evening with church friends. He played barefooted and kicking the ball multiple times without any footwear might have caused some pain to the more softer top of the foot.

The team manager of C4 Football Club, Shuoxian Tan, commented:

"I have heard about Glen's injury. But like they said, one man doesn't make a club. However... Glen is the Club!!! He is the heart of the team!! Without him, nothing flows throughout!! If the team were a bus, then he would be the wheels, engine, driver, and the top deck all combined!!"

With their key player out, and the team manager distraught at the news, the club and its fans keep their fingers crossed. However, one knows that they can always count on Tan to save the day.
